About this role: 

We are looking for an energetic, warm and guest-obsessed Floor Staff member to join the team at Padel Social Club. This role is at the heart of what makes PSC special. You will be the person our members and guests remember. Whether you are delivering drinks courtside during a packed tournament, hosting a social evening, or keeping the bar and lounge running smoothly, your energy and personality will define the experience.
This is a multifaceted role. Your primary focus is exceptional table service and creating an atmosphere that keeps our members coming back. You will also support across the bar and occasionally the kitchen when the team needs you but you will always be valued for the experience you create, not just the tasks you complete.

Here's what you'll do:

Table Service & Guest Experience
• Deliver attentive, proactive table service across the clubhouse, terrace and courtside areas reading the room and anticipating what guests need before they ask.
• Be a genuine host. Learn regulars' names and preferences, make first-time visitors feel instantly welcome, and ensure every person feels like the most important guest in the room.
• Check in with tables regularly, offering top-ups and taking new orders in a way that feels natural and unhurried rather than transactional.
• Support event service during tournaments, socials, Padel and Pilates sessions and private functions these are the moments that define our reputation.
• Uphold the PSC standard of going beyond the expected: carry an extra glass, remember a preference, offer a recommendation, make someone's evening.

Bar Support
• Support bartenders during busy periods preparing simple drinks, carrying orders and keeping the bar area clear and well-presented.
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown, including restocking fridges, preparing garnishes and ensuring glassware is polished and ready.
• Accurately process payments using the POS system and handle any table billing with confidence and a smile.
• Communicate low stock levels and guest feedback promptly to the Bar Supervisor or Manager on shift.

Club Presentation & Operational Support
• Keep tables, lounge areas and terrace spaces immaculate throughout your shift clearing promptly, wiping down and resetting between guests.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown including furniture arrangement, signage, glassware preparation and post-event cleaning.
• Support the wider team across the club as needed this may occasionally include washing up and kitchen assistance during particularly busy periods. We are a team that looks after each other and no role is ever beneath any of us.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns or guest complaints to a manager immediately.
