PADEL SOCIAL CLUB - MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction and Definitions

1.1 In these Rules “the Company” means Padel Social Club Limited (and all of its subsidiary companies trading as Padel Social Club) which provides the Club and its facilities for the benefit of the Members.
1.2 “The Club” means “Padel Social Club”.
1.3 “Member” means a Club Member.
1.4 “Rules” mean the terms and conditions of membership set out below.
1.5 It is a condition of membership that Members agree to pay the fees referred to in Rule 2 and agree to be bound by these Rules.
1.6 These Rules may be revoked, altered, or added to from time to time by the Company, without prior notification to Members.
1.7 Any such variations will be updated on the Club Rules on our website.
1.8 The Company has created these Rules for the mutual enjoyment of the Members and their guests.
1.9 The enforcement of these Rules is for the good of all Members.
1.10 No Member or guest will be judged on the basis of their race, gender, marital/civil partnership status, age, disability, religion or belief, colour, national origin or sexual orientation.

2. Membership and Fees

2.1 Members must be at least 16 years of age.
2.2 Membership payments are payable monthly in advance.
2.3 Members may prepay for annual 12-month membership – the full amount to be paid prior to membership start date.
2.4 Monthly subscriptions begin on the date of purchase and renew on the same date each month.
2.5 Payment of monthly membership can only be made by Direct Debit from a UK bank account.
2.6 Monthly instalments and any additional charges are debited on the same calendar date each month as the initial purchase date (or the next working day if it falls on a weekend or public holiday).
2.7 Members must keep the Club informed of their up-to-date contact details.
2.8 All communications shall be presumed to have been received within 5 days of the postmarked date, or ‘sent’ date if via email.
2.9 All membership fees are reviewed annually; members will be notified of any changes by email or post, giving at least one full calendar month’s notice.
2.10 The Company reserves the right to refuse a membership application from any applicant for any reason.
2.11 A photo must be taken at the time of joining or before the first entry to the Club. Entry will not be permitted without a photo.
2.12 Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable, unless there is written agreement to the contrary.
2.13 If fees or charges are unpaid when due, the Company may suspend access until full payment is made.
2.14 If unpaid after 30 days, full payment may be demanded; failure to pay within 15 days may result in termination and debt recovery actions.
2.15 Upon termination of membership, no refund of fees will be issued.
2.16 To re-join after termination, all unpaid fees must be cleared, and new membership and admin fees may apply.
2.17 Transfer to another Club is subject to a fee and adjusted monthly rates.
2.18 Requests to change membership must be submitted by the 24th of the month for the following month.

3. Membership Cards

3.1 Issued on provision of ID and used to access the Club.
3.2 Cards are non-transferable; misuse may result in termination.
3.3 The Club may charge for replacement cards.
3.4 Cards may be retained if payment is in default.

4. Use of Facilities and Services

4.1 Opening hours may change without notice.
4.2 The Club may close facilities for maintenance, events, or holidays.
4.3 The Club reserves the right to refuse entry at its discretion.
4.4 Activities are undertaken at Member’s or guest’s own risk.
4.5 The class programme may change at short notice.
4.6 Appropriate attire and footwear are required in all areas.
4.7 Sauna/Ice Baths use is restricted for those with medical conditions or pregnancy.
4.8 Ice Baths must be used under staff guidance and with medical advice.
4.9 Smoking and alcohol/drugs are prohibited.
4.10 No use of facilities under the influence of substances.
4.11 Phone calls permitted outside wet areas; photography restrictions apply.
4.12 No glass containers in courts, pool, or changing areas.
4.13 Loud or abusive behavior is not tolerated.
4.14 Club property must not be removed.
4.15 24-hour notice is required for appointment cancellations.
4.16 Workout areas must be kept tidy; equipment cleaned after use.
4.17 Unused Personal Training sessions or club credit are non-refundable.

5. Liability

5.1 The Club is not liable for personal property loss or damage.
5.2 Activities are undertaken at one’s own risk.
5.3 The Club is only liable for injuries due to proven negligence.
5.4 Accidents must be reported immediately to the Duty Manager.

6. Member's Health and Safety Warranty

6.1 Members must confirm they are physically able to exercise.
6.2 Medical clearance must be obtained where necessary.
6.3 Members must not use facilities while contagious or with open wounds.
6.4 Members should familiarise themselves with fire exits and evacuation procedures.

7. Data Protection

7.1 Refer to our Privacy Notice for details on data collection and usage.

8. Cancellation of Membership

8.1 Cancellation must be received by the 1st of the month, not within the joining month.
8.2 Notice requires one full calendar month’s payment.
8.3 Written cancellation required via form or email confirmation.
8.4 Membership changes are not allowed during the notice period.
8.5 Subscription must be active to cancel.
8.6 No refunds on monthly/prepaid fees.
8.7 Re-joining requires joining fee and payment of any arrears.
8.8 Founder members may receive partial refunds under specific conditions.
8.9 The Company may suspend or cancel membership for rule violations.
8.10 Expelled members forfeit all rights and are not entitled to refunds.

9. CCTV 

9.1 CCTV operates throughout, excluding changing areas.
9.2 Underwater and thermal imaging used for safety and health monitoring.
9.3 Data stored for 30 days securely.

10. Standard Complaints Procedure

10.1 Feedback can be given via email or in person to Club staff.

11. General

11.1 The Company may assign agreements without notice.
11.2 Communication may be via email or SMS.
11.3 Fitness areas must be vacated 20 minutes before close for showering.
11.4 Annual weekend closures may occur for maintenance.

12. Club Credit

12.1 Credit is redeemable at all clubs but not for cash. 12.2 Valid for spa services, PT sessions, and merchandise. 12.3 Cannot be used for subscriptions or specific medical services. 12.4 Credit is valid for one year and is non-transferable. 12.5 Referral credit applies under specific conditions. 12.6 Unused credit is forfeited upon membership termination.

Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. By entering the ‘Padel Social Club years free membership’ competition (the “Competition”), you agree to the terms and conditions (the “Rules”) set out below, with your attention specifically drawn to conditions 9, 10, 11, and 15.

  2. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results, and all other matters relating to the Competition, the decision of Padel Social Club Limited (“PSC”) shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

  3. To qualify to enter the Competition, you must be a resident of the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and/or the Isle of Man.

  4. The Competition is open to anybody over the age of 18.

  5. By entering the Competition, you warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current, and complete. PSC reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.

  6. By entering the Competition, you are agreeing to hear from Padel Social Club.

  7. PSC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.

  8. Only one entry per person is allowed.

  9. The Competition is currently open, with entries accepted on a rolling basis.

  10. Winners will be drawn on a quarterly basis throughout the year, or at intervals determined by PSC. PSC reserves the right to adjust draw frequency and timing at its discretion without prior notice.

  11. The Competition prize will be as detailed below. There is no purchase requirement to enter the Competition: 1 x Padel Social Club annual membership (Earls Court Club). Value £360.

  12. A competition winner will be selected using a random number generator.

  13. Prize winners will still be eligible to enter future PSC competitions.

  14. Prize winners will be contacted shortly after each draw takes place.

  15. Confirmation of acceptance of the prize must be made within 7 days of being contacted. Failure to claim the prize may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the original winner before an alternate is selected.

  16. Competition prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. PSC reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.

  17. Competition prizes are awarded at the discretion of PSC and no prizes will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any entrant.

  18. Prize winners shall not, under any circumstances, sell or transfer their prize to any other person(s) for a reasonable period after the competition. Selling or transferring prizes includes, but is not limited to, resale on auction websites or other third-party platforms.

  19. Your Competition entry and any information submitted must be personal to and relate specifically to you. You warrant that your entry and all information submitted will not infringe the rights of any third party and will not contain anything libellous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing, or threatening. PSC reserves the right to screen, filter, and/or remove inappropriate content.

  20. Winners may be requested to participate in promotional activity for PSC.

  21. Any personal data relating to entrants will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s consent. Please see the Padel Social Club Privacy Notice for further details.

  22. Data relating to Competition entrants will be retained by PSC for a reasonable period after each draw.

  23. The Competition and Rules will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
