Equipment

Yes, we have a range of padel rackets available in the shop to rent. Rackets cost £4/hour to rent.

I’m a beginner. What’s the best padel racket for me?

Padel rackets come in three designs: round, drop-shaped, and diamond-shaped. Constructed from EVA foam material, these rackets feature perforations and boast a shorter, more compact form compared to tennis rackets.

The LTA advise that novices begin with a round racket, as it provides optimal control. Additionally, junior rackets tailored for children are offered, featuring lighter weight and shorter grips for enhanced usability.

When you’re next onsite, please reach out to our coach Antonio or a member of the team and they would be happy to help.

Do you provide balls?

We have Wilson balls which can be purchased in the shop for £6.50. For all private lessons and clinics padel balls will be provided.

Is there a dress code?

Padel is a relaxed and informal game which means there is no dress code, please feel free to wear whatever you find most comfortable. Generally, opting for sportswear and a comfortable pair of trainers is recommended.
Specialised Padel trainers are available, tailored to the demands of the playing surface. Please speak to our coach Antonio if you have any further questions.
