About this role:

We’re looking for a proactive and personable Front of House Assistant to be the welcoming face of Padel Social Club. This multifaceted role is central to our daily operations, covering member check-ins, court bookings, email correspondence, facility upkeep, merchandise sales, and event support. You’ll help create a seamless, professional, and friendly experience for every visitor, while keeping the club running smoothly behind the scenes.

 

Here's what you'll do:

Guest Experience & Check-In:

  • Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Check players in for court bookings and assist new visitors with club orientation.
  • Provide accurate information about court availability, schedules and amenities.
  • Help manage traffic flow and timing during peak hours and tournament days.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage court reservations using the club’s booking platform - update, confirm and
    modify bookings efficiently.
  • Monitor and respond to the club’s email inbox with timely, friendly and informative
    communication.
  • Assist with member sign-ups, account updates and general enquiries.

Facility Maintenance & Readiness:

  • Ensure padel courts are clean, tidy and ready ahead of every booking, including nets,
    seating and court-side areas.
  • Maintain the front desk and entrance area in pristine condition at all times.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of the club to identify and report any maintenance
    issues.

Wellness Hub Oversight:

  • Keep the wellness hub consistently clean, tidy and fully stocked with towels, water and toiletries.
  • Create a relaxing and inviting space for members before and after play.
  • Replenish supplies and report inventory needs to management.

Event & Merchandise Support:

  • Assist in preparing for and executing club events, including tournaments, social nights and member mixers.
  • Help with setup, guest check-in, signage, refreshments and post-event clean-up.
  • Support the sale of branded merchandise and accessories (e.g. rackets, balls and
    clothing).
  • Keep retail displays well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Track stock levels and assist with basic inventory management.

 

You're a great fit if you:

  • Have previous experience in a customer service, retail, or club environment.
  • Are energetic, personable, and highly organised with strong multitasking skills.
  • Are comfortable using booking systems, email platforms, and point-of-sale software.
  • Have a high attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
  • Are a team player who thrives in a dynamic, member-focused setting.
  • Are available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
